Ready to trade your toolbox for a tropical paradise? Join the team at Ocean Beach Holiday Resort, where every day feels like a holiday and your handiwork helps keep our natures retreat looking lush This is a Casual opportunity with Maintenance and Handywork being the major focus.  Flexibility will be required to assist with Grounds duties including, turf management as needed.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance all-rounder, you will assist with the following:

  • Dive into pool care—cleaning, dosing, water balancing, and basic repairs.
  • Maintain and clean public areas, ensuring everything's guest ready.
  • Pitch in on gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs, and a splash of painting.
  • Lend a hand with minor repairs across cabins, campsites, amenities, and facilities.
  • Deliver friendly, incidental customer service, because a helping hand goes a long way
  • Ensure our equipment is serviced and safe to use.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in basic maintenance work (trade qualification, would be ideal, but not essential, eg Carpentry, Mechanics, Electrical)
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures and basic hygiene requirements.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Skills with ride-on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control.
  • Hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a good level of fitness (it's a physically demanding role).
