About the role
Think smart electrical & lifts is seeking an experienced Elevator Fitter/Electrician/Labourer to join our team in Weston Creek, ACT. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of elevators and related electrical systems. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires a strong background in electrical work and a passion for the trades industry.
What you'll be doing
Installing, maintaining and repairing elevators
Completing all required documentation and reporting
- Collaborating with the broader team to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely
- Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations
What we're looking for
- Qualified electrician with a Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Experienced fitter
- Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
