About the Division

IMTD is responsible for supporting one of the largest technology networks in Victoria and leading the department's technology, digital capability, business systems and digital transformation. This network consists of Schools, Corporate and Early Childhood Education (ECE) including a school user base of more than 1500 Government schools, 50,000 teachers and 650,000 students.

IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

The Corporate Digital Strategy aims to increase the number of enterprise-wide systems and oversee their delivery. We maintain high-quality services to the enterprise and support the development of business cases identified through the Corporate Digital Strategy, using other branches for the delivery of major initiatives.

About the Role

The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing and supporting the Departments Microsoft Power Platform including Corporate Applications. This position will support the Platform Lead - MS to implement and support governance, support Application Owners and provide administrative oversight to the Power Platform.

You will require strong experience with the Power Platform including:

• Application Support, Solution Design and Development
• Workflow Automation and Digitisation of Business Process
• Integration with other systems (including SharePoint, SQL)
• Stakeholder management and collaboration
• Technical support and maintenance

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• 2-3 years' experience as a Developer in Power Platform
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Background in transitioning traditional business processes into digital environments.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively within an ICT or transformation team.
• Experience supporting SharePoint Online
