A fresh opportunity awaits

As the Senior Business Partner - Compensation & Benefits, you'll step into a newly created position, responsible for shaping Mainland Group's compensation and benefits framework.

In doing so, we'll be looking to this individual to deliver strategic insights, as well as delivering on the following operational responsibilities:

  • Manage salary structures and job grading frameworks.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking and provide compensation recommendations.
  • Work closely with P&C, finance and business unit leaders to support decision making regarding remuneration costs and benefits packages.
  • Support managers with insights regarding pay policies, compensation adjustments, and incentives.
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports related to compensation, turnover, and benefit utilisation.
  • Collaborate on and maintain compliance across all internal and external audits.
  • Manage employee communication related to compensation and benefits programs to promote understanding and accessibility.
  • Conduct workshops to educate employees on available benefits and how to maximise their use.
  • Address concerns or feedback from employees regarding compensation and benefits policies, maintaining a high level of service.
  • Partner with HRIS teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve systems related to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Regularly review existing workflows and seek opportunities for efficiencies and better employee experiences.
  • Leverage internal and external data to analyse trends in compensation and benefits, identifying risks or opportunities for improvement.

This position reports to the Director of People & Culture as a key member of the P&C team, however you will work closely with our Rewards Centre of Expertise, ensuring best practices are maintained within the compensation and benefits space.
