We're seeking Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Disability Support Workers – this means the role is only open to applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. This position recognises the importance of cultural knowledge, lived experience, and community connection in providing safe, respectful, and effective support.
You will be part of a caring, values-driven team that respects cultural heritage and understands the importance of family, kinship, and Country.

About the Role
You will work with Participants to:
- Support daily living needs and personal care.
- Assist participation in cultural, social, community, and recreational activities.
- Provide transport and help with household tasks.
- Encourage independence, self-determination, and goal achievement.
- Deliver services in a way that is culturally safe, respectful, and person-centred.
What We're Looking For
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person (this is an identified position).
- Experience in disability support or personal care (desirable, but not essential – training provided).
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to inclusion, respect, and cultural safety.
Required Certifications
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain within three months).
- Current NDIS Worker Clearance.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination status.
