POS Hardware Technician
Hands-on | Fast-paced | Real-world impact
Do you like working with real hardware, staying active, and seeing your work deployed in the field?
Are you organised, practical, and proud of doing things properly?
We're looking for a POS Hardware Technician to join our operations team and play a key role in preparing, provisioning, and dispatching POS hardware for customer deployments across Australia.
This is a hands-on role that blends warehouse operations, hardware setup, and occasional onsite support. If you enjoy variety, ownership, and working with tech — this one's for you.

What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end handling of POS hardware as it moves through the warehouse and out to customer sites. This includes receiving incoming deliveries, checking stock against supplier dockets, allocating hardware to the correct locations, and keeping stock accurate and organised. On a daily basis, you'll pick, pack, and dispatch hardware, manage freight bookings, and ensure Pack & Send jobs are completed independently within a 24-hour turnaround SLA. Accuracy matters — you'll label, track, and record serialised equipment correctly to maintain clean asset and inventory records.
You'll also play a key role in preparing hardware before it goes onsite. This includes provisioning POS terminals and configuring peripherals such as scanners, printers, tablets, and RFID devices. You'll complete pre-provisioning tasks like preparing HP terminals, shrouds, and pole mounts to ensure installations run smoothly. From time to time, you'll assist with customer deployments by attending site, which may involve overnight travel. Throughout all tasks, you'll maintain a safe, tidy warehouse environment, and focus on continuous improvement.

What we're looking for
You'll do well in this role if you:
• Enjoy hands-on, practical work with hardware and equipment
• Are organised, detail-focused, and reliable
• Can work independently and manage daily priorities
• Like a role with variety — warehouse, provisioning, and field support
Experience that helps (but isn't essential):
• Warehouse, logistics, or stock handling experience
• POS, IT, or hardware provisioning exposure
• Experience working with serialised equipment
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite work
• Working within Ticketing Systems

Career Progression & Growth
This is a pathway role with room to grow as the business scales.
Possible progression paths include:
• Implementation Technician
• Support Technician
As the business continues to grow, there are opportunities to step into more senior and specialised positions based on performance, capability, and interest. Progression is based on capability, ownership, and performance, not tenure.

Why join us?
You'll work with real technology that's deployed to customers across Australia — what you prepare and provision actually goes live.
You'll be part of a down-to-earth, supportive team that values people who show up, pull their weight, and take pride in doing things properly. There's no ego, no politics — just people working together to get the job done.
• We back our team with clear processes, realistic expectations, and ownership of work, so you know what success looks like and can take pride in hitting it.
• This is a growing business, which means opportunity — if you're reliable, proactive, and want to grow, you'll be supported to do so.
• Variety is built into the role — warehouse, provisioning, and occasional onsite work — so no two weeks look the same.
