We're looking for an experienced Factory Foreman to oversee our end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth operations, efficiency, and top-tier quality. If you're a problem solver, leader, and expert in signage and display manufacturing, we want you on our team

What You'll Do

Manage Production – Manage the full production cycle for signage and display projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and budgets are met.

Optimize Workflow – Improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

Resource Management – Handle materials, maintain and order inventory, deal with suppliers, and equipment to maintain high production standards.

Rostering– Coordinating and overseeing staff rosters to ensure business needs are met.

Evaluate workflow - Daily schedules to assess the appropriate number of staff needed to complete tasks efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Work to Deadlines -Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks with floor staff to consistently meet deadlines.

Lead the Team – Motivate and manage production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Quality Control – Ensure every display and sign meets our high-quality standards and client expectations.

Problem-Solve – Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions to keep projects on track.

Hands On Approach – Help our team on the floor to get the job done in between the above priorities.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in production management within the display, signage, or joinery and fabrication industry.
  • Strong knowledge of materials (cabinetry, acrylic, vinyl, metals, LED lighting, ) and manufacturing techniques.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills – Ability to lead teams and liaise with designers, suppliers, and clients.
  • Project Management Expertise – Must be Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Hands-on Problem Solver – Ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions swiftly.
  • Tech-Savvy – Familiarity with CAD software, CNC machinery, printing technologies, and digital signage solutions is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must possess demonstrated experience in overseeing a manufacturing floor, including a solid track record of effectively managing staff. This includes not only the ability to coordinate daily operations and ensure production schedule targets are met but also the skills to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Ideal candidates should be adept at implementing best practices in manufacturing processes, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency, and addressing any workforce challenges that arise.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with employees and driving team performance. Additionally, experience in training and developing staff to enhance their skills and productivity will be highly valued.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in Display Manufacturing including in depth knowledge of processes relating to: Joinery / 3D Signage / Metal Manufacturing / Acrylic Fabrication.

You must have experience in at least one of these industries to be considered for this role
