We are seeking driven and passionate members to join our sales team.

SKATE CONNECTION - Sales Consultant Approx 20-26 hours per week

The Role:

  • Provide customers with the best experience and product knowledge
  • Be motivated to achieve budget targets
  • Effectively follow management directions
  • Receiving/processing stock: unpacking, storing, labelling stock
  • Excellent merchandising and store presentation/cleanliness
  • Answering phones
  • Packaging online orders and deliveries
  • Assist in the management of daily store operations
  • Create a positive, high energy team environment
  • Under the direction of management, performs and completes other additional projects, duties and assignments as required.
  • Responsible for the daily opening and closing of the business, managing daily goal and schedule needs
  • Ensures that the floor is merchandised according to promotion
  • Takes full responsibility and accountability at store level

About YOU:

  • Prior experience in a similar sales consultant position
  • Solid understanding of retail store budgets and sales targets
  • Experience in developing a customer service focus in a retail store
  • Passion for active lifestyle
  • Complete tasks with attention to detail
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent decision making and problem resolution skills
  • Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, friendly
  • Personally responsible and dependable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • General computer knowledge
