Care Aide

We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our Aged Care Team. We have  permanent part-time roles available. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 8.30am –4:30pm. If you are available for most or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you.

Servicing the following suburbs: Trayning, Muchea, Bindoon, Bambun, Beermullah, Coondabidgee, Gingin, Granville, Lennard Brook, Muckenburra, Mooliabeenee, Wannamal, Hill River and may be required to travel to the coastal region at times, Lancelin

Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence.  Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite and assisting with medication.  Support may also be required with general housekeeping, social support and basic first aid.

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
• Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
• Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
• A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.

• $36.85 per hour + super
• Travel allowance of $1.03 per k/m
