The role:

Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Chef to join our aged care site in Byron Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the heart of Byron Bay, just moments from beautiful beaches, cafés, and a vibrant local community. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) and the location is conveniently located near public transport.

Roster: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Key responsibilities:

Preparing & presenting food for our residents

Maintaining a clean working environment

Support bulk cooking operations

Provide excellent customer service

Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods

Skills and Experiences:

Your background:

Previous experience in a similar role

Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Adherence to food & general safety practices

Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
