Now Hiring: Section Waiter

Salary: $65,400 – $80,000 per year + super

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a high-quality venue
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working to systems, procedures, and service targets
  • Understanding and adherence to RSA legislation
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and manage priorities effectively
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
  • Immediate start preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a high-performing section team
  • Roster staff according to budget guidelines
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Assist in organising functions and special events
  • Conduct stocktakes and place appropriate orders for wine and restaurant supplies
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Manage hosting and reservations as required
