Position Purpose:Coordinate and lead the safe execution of structural maintenance and quality assurance activities as part of the site's Engineering–Asset Integrity Program. Develop detailed work packs aligned with engineering recommendations, Client work management processes, SAP workflows, and AIMS priorities. Act as the key link between the Project Manager – Asset Integrity and Execution Supervisors, ensuring open communication and collaborative planning. Promote a strong safety culture, drive operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement by mentoring team members and building effective relationships across operational and maintenance teams.

Location of project:

Mackay and Bowen Basin, Queensland. 

Opportunities are available for Mackay residential positions, FIFO from Brisbane, or DIDO from Mackay and Rockhampton areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage structural maintenance work packs in coordination with the Protective Coatings Coordinator.
  • Oversee remediation schedules, SAP notifications, and documentation to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to avoid delays and support forward planning.
  • Attend weekly planning meetings and contribute to pre-read schedules for accuracy.
  • Track defect progress and ensure timely close-out of actions.
  • Support budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Supervise Project Supervisors to ensure safe and high-quality execution of works.
  • Verify and document completed remediation activities.
  • Archive all work pack documentation upon completion.
  • Ensure compliance evidence is captured and stored (e.g., RPEQ sign-off, QA/QC).
  • Maintain familiarity with BMA-PRO-0069 and relevant Australian/ISO standards.
  • Manage training compliance for direct reports through a dedicated training matrix specific to the program.
  • Ensure plant is returned to BAU or better condition, including housekeeping standards.
  • Set and uphold high standards across the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster collaboration with the wider team.
