Our warehouse in Pakenham has an immediate requirement for committed storemen to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for stock movement, picking and packing orders, container unloading, and general warehouse duties. This is a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate with excellent attention to detail, experience in a high-volume warehouse and distribution environment, RF scanner experience, and the ability to meet KPIs.
To be successful in this role, you'll need accuracy and efficiency, a willingness to learn, and excellent attention to detail.
Working hours: currently all day Monday and Tuesday morning (half day) for general picking and packing. This may increase to full-time (Monday to Friday) as Christmas approaches. Additional hours may be required for container unloading.
This is physically demanding work. Many products weigh around 25–30 kg each, so you must be able to lift this weight repeatedly throughout the day.
There is potential for a permanent, full-time position in the future for the right person.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accuracy and efficiency
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to meet KPIs
- RF scanning experience
- Basic computer literacy
- A current forklift licence (LF/LO)
- Valid Australian work visa required
