Greatland is a leading new Gold-Copper producer, having recently acquired the iconic Telfer mine and the world-class Havieron gold-copper project in the Paterson region in Western Australia.
As we continue to grow our business and team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated
Company Secretary
to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our journey to becoming a leading ASX gold-copper producer and contribute our future success.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to become part of a growing organisation and work closely with an outstanding Board of Directors and senior management team. You will have direct and regular engagement with our Board, maintain and develop strong governance practices, and ideally also play an important role in another part of our business.
The role will also hold responsibility for overseeing our Corporate Sustainability and Social Performance team. The duties of which are critical to Greatland's commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices and maintaining a strong relationship with the Martu people, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which Telfer and Havieron is situated.
Key responsibilities of the Company Secretary role include:
- Advising the Board on legal, governance, and ethical obligations; ensuring compliance with the ASX Lisiting Rules, the Corporations Act and the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations.
- Managing Board and Committee meetings, communications, minutes and other matters, and attending all Board and Committee meetings.
- Maintaining and administering our corporate governance charters, policies and corporate registers.
- Contributing to our periodic reporting, including quarterly, half-year and annual disclosures in conjunction with the Finance team.
- Accountability for Corporate reporting, including the Annual Report, Sustainability Report and Modern Slavery Statement.
- Managing regulatory announcements, overseeing AGM coordination, shareholder enquiries regarding company secretarial matters, and maintaining the shareholder register.
- Managing the administration of Greatland employee share plans.
- Assisting with identifying and managing corporate risks; ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Acting as a point of contact for regulators, legal advisors, and external stakeholders regarding governance matters.

- In-depth knowledge of company secretariat, corporate governance, ASX Listing Rules, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience and confidence working with listed company boards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Expertise in maintaining and administering legal compliance and governance frameworks.
