Role Overview:

Are you a people-focused, clinically passionate Dental Assistant looking for more than just a job? Join our vibrant and growing dental team in beautiful Tewantin, where your skills, energy, and care will be truly valued.

We're offering a unique opportunity to work on a 4-day roster with an RDO every Wednesday – giving you the perfect midweek break to recharge, run errands, or enjoy the Noosa lifestyle.

This role offers immediate start and growth opportunities within our expanding practice network.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and organise precise patient data and medical history.

Assist chairside during dental procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are ready and patients are comfortable.

Support the dentist and dental hygienists in clinical tasks as needed.

Provide exceptional patient care by anticipating needs and ensuring comfort throughout treatments.

Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques.

Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.

Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and team spirit at Avenue Dental.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Experience in dental is highly recognised, but not essential.

Excellent conversational and customer service skills.

Confidence in fast-paced environments with strong multitasking abilities.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Calm demeanour under pressure and a proactive approach to challenges.

A professional presentation.

Eagerness to learn, grow, and undertake training and education opportunities.
