Greenham Tongala is a 100% Australian owned & operated, family company processing & exporting beef to the world.

Greenham Tongala is recruiting experienced yard persons with cattle handling skills who are prepared to learn and grow with the Company in our expansion. Full time positions are available, currently operating Monday to Friday. Previous experience receiving stock, sorting, counting and preparing cattle for processing will be highly regarded and you receive comprehensive on-site accredited training programs in a state-of-the-art yard system. An understanding of animal welfare & OH&S requirements is critical in this role.

Applicants must enjoy working with different breeds of cattle from dairy through to prime beef to meet the customer demand for high quality product that the Greenham brand is renowned for. Cattle handling skills and working closely with a great team requires discipline, alertness, physical fitness and strength of mind and body. Carrying out daily duties such as : Pen movements, drafting, cutting out and unloading of incoming cattle. There is opportunities for overtime available on top of a 36-hour working week.

All successful applicants will undergo a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. All Greenham sites are drug & alcohol-free sites, and all Greenham employees are Q-fever vaccinated.
