Seaford, Victoria, Australia Pixel Cube Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

This role is about working directly with the company director of Pixel Cube, an IT business that builds clever systems, custom software, and hosted services. You'll be helping make things run smoother, get finished properly, and move forward faster.

What You'll Actually Do
  • Help turn customer enquiries into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Write up instructions for staff (you'll be the translator between ideas and implementation).
  • Check work before it goes out to customers, accuracy and presentation matter
  • Keep customers informed and happy through clear communication.
  • Track project financials, follow up on invoicing, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Be involved in company direction and strategy; from refining processes to shaping sales and marketing.
  • Support strategic initiatives; think business partnerships, outreach, and improving how we work.

(Also helping the director get through his workload, he gets distracted easily by other tasks)

About You
  • You're organised, switched on, and good at turning chaos into structure.
  • You communicate clearly and aren't afraid to chase people (politely) when something's needed.
  • You enjoy learning new things and can wrap your head around technical topics, even if you're not from an IT background.
  • You're happy juggling different types of work such as admin, strategy, communication, planning, problem solving, every task will typically be something new.
  • You like being trusted to take initiative rather than micromanaged.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Any experience in tech, software, or digital business will make you a standout but isn't essential.
  • Familiarity with tools like Teams, Excel and Outlook is a plus.
  • Knowledge of business or accounting concepts is also a bonus but not a requirement.
  • A sense of humour will help, especially when things get busy.
