Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company, based in Adelaide, providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore.

About the opportunity:

Due to our company's growth and increased operational requirements, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Plant Boilermaker to join our Maintenance Team.

This position is responsible for providing specialised boiler making services to investigate, identify and perform trade-related maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and vehicles safely according to site requirements.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing a broad range of fabrication/welding works on bucket rebuilds, tray relines and other fabrication tasks when required.
  • Executing timely and scheduled planned maintenance to eliminate machinery down-times by preventative and opportune repairs.

What we are looking for:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate or Relevant experience.
  • Current SA driver's licenses.
  • Previous experience in the mining industry or small to medium scale operations.
  • Mobile plant equipment & heavy welding experience using MMAW & FCAW.
  • Proficient in performing all facets of welding, gouging, cutting and other duties.
  • Set and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
  • Able to interpret drawings and layout designs.
  • HRWL, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, Crane (CN) and EWP - desirable
  • Confined Spaces and Working at Heights - desirable
