About the role:

Accountable for the P&L performance of the Bupa Health &Wellness (HW) team including the development and implementation of HW strategies, driving thought leadership credentials and the development and launch of market leading products and services to support Bupa's overall value proposition as a healthcare partner and drive portfolio growth for Bupa through the strategic acquisition and retention of B2B Partnerships.

This includes end to end accountability for performance across people, customer, financial, risk management, quality and operational KPIs.

The role demands a strong, visible, responsive, and driven leader with outstanding commercial acumen, deep understanding of the health and wellness industry and people leadership experience in an operational environment with the ability to drive a high performance and risk management culture across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of the HW strategy (including both traditional HW services and new digital led HW services) and roadmap of the value proposition to the International & Corporate market
  • Lead the end-to-end development, delivery and continuous improvement of programs, from product development to expert consulting, assessment and evaluation through to program implementation & service delivery to support revenue and profit targets
  • Responsible for leading the development of HW solutions in line with Bupa's Savannah strategy. This includes new proposition innovation, overseeing management and delivery of the portfolio of HW products and services, 3rd party supplier management and new partnership capability.
  • Accountable for the ICP Health and Wellness end to end P&L
  • Deliver on B2B and B2C NPS targets
  • Deliver relevant (client & customer) experiences to increase the volume of touchpoints through HW services, improving HI lead generation and growth in HW revenue and profit.
  • Contribute market business intelligence and identify strategic opportunities for new partnerships and evolution of our partner health proposition
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth customer centric delivery

About You

  • Minimum 10 years in a business role
  • Tertiary qualifications in health profession or allied health related discipline are preferred
  • Strong commercial experience including managing a P&L.
  • Experience in strategic change management, digital product & proposition development and successful realisation of strategy
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline are preferred
  • Exceptional people leadership and team development skills for large teams of ~40 people
  • Extensive knowledge of the key drivers for International & Corporate Partners regarding health and care desired but not mandatory
  • Significant operational experience in the health & wellness industry and established senior connections within the Corporate Health and/or International Education market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, written and verbal skills
