Intelife is looking for Support Workers to support people with a disability to live a full and happy life in which they can reach their goals and realise their dreams.

The job

This is a rewarding role that offers work-life balance, flexibility and the opportunity to further your career based in our Mandurah office.

We have Part Time and Casual opportunities available.

You'll support participants with a range of abilities to maintain and develop new skills, engage in community activities and build meaningful relationships. No two days are the same – you may find yourself supporting a person to go to the gym, take part in a group bowling activity, learn how to catch the bus, cook a meal or get ready for a job interview. It all depends on what they'd like to achieve.

About you

  • Passionate about helping others
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Able to work with people with varied support needs
  • Flexible and able to cope with changing demands
  • Able to complete records and reports efficiently

You'll also have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Valid National Police Clearance of no more than 3-months old
  • Provide First Aid certificate

And you'll need:

  • Appropriate right to work in Australia
  • Valid WA driver's licence
  • Roadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle that you are willing to use at work (kms will be reimbursed)

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilities
