Job Details

We are seeking an experienced 
Senior Salesforce Engineer
 to join the Platform Engineering team on a government digital transformation program.

This role is hands-on and focused on delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with government standards and supporting critical service delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce components using Omnistudio, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
  • Build and enhance user interfaces, business logic, and automation using Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Support testing, deployment, and release management using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with government security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain clear, concise technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Essential Criteria

  1. Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in enterprise or government environments (PSS).
  2. Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
  3. Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  4. Experience with Salesforce configuration and automation tools.
  5. Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Experience working within a Platform Engineering or enterprise technology team.
  2. Familiarity with government digital service standards and compliance frameworks.
  3. Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tooling in a Salesforce environment.
