About the Role

You'll be travelling regularly to communities like Jundah, Windorah, and Boulia, providing on-the-ground support and helping transition pilot projects into long-term, community-owned models.

This critical role will be based within the Central West Queensland region in either Longreach, Jundah, Stonehenge, Blackall, Barcaldine, Winton, Aramac, Boulia, Windorah or surrounding areas.

  • Co-design health and wellbeing solutions in partnership with community members, providers, and cultural leaders
  • Oversee HOC initiatives and track outcomes through data and community feedback
  • Plan travel calendars to deliver timely, on-site support and facilitation.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and contribute to cross-sector collaborations
  • Build the capability of internal teams to sustain HOC outcomes.

  • Experience in health, mental health, or allied health settings

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
