Job Description

  • Preparing cuts of meat for seasoning and curing to produce smallgoods.
  • Operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat.
  • Making seasonings by mixing spices, salt, and other ingredients.
  • Operating filling machines & smoking chambers.
  • Process and package finished smallgoods for distribution.
  • Plan and schedule work and assist the management team in estimating food production, cost production and monitoring the cleanliness of rooms.
  • Check stockholding and prepare requisitions.
