We're looking for a Casual Creative who can confidently handle both camera work and video editing. You'll be part of a small but passionate team, helping us bring stories to life for clients, campaigns, and our own in-house projects. Freelancers and Students studying media, film, and the likes are highly encouraged to apply.

About Us

Mauri-E Group is a startup media and production house based in Sydney, creating powerful films, documentaries, campaigns, and branded content. Our objective is to blend creativity, cultural sensitivity, and technical excellence to amplify voices, tell meaningful stories, and inspire change. We are a small crew and are looking for a team member to join Mauri-E family on a casual basis at the moment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate professional cameras for events, shoots, and productions
  • Assist in setting up lighting, audio, and live streaming equipment
  • Edit videos for various platforms (corporate, creative, and social media content)
  • Work closely with the creative director to bring concepts to life
  • Ensure all content meets Mauri-E's premium quality standards

Qualifications

  • Camera Skills: Experience handling DSLRs, mirrorless, or cinema cameras
  • Editing Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, DaVinci Resolve a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Canva and CapCut
  • Eye for composition, lighting, and detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends for events
  • Passion for storytelling and visual creativity
