The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our Victorian team. This is a mobile role requiring travel to clients' homes, providing compassionate end-of-life care and euthanasia services. In addition to clinical duties, you will also play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with local veterinary clinics, ensuring strong professional connections that support referral growth and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, compassionate, in-home euthanasia services for companion animals.
- Provide clear, empathetic communication with clients during emotionally sensitive situations.
- Maintain accurate veterinary records and comply with all clinical, ethical, and legal requirements.
- Build and manage strong professional relationships with referring veterinary clinics.
- Represent Goodbye Good Boy at clinic visits, events, and continuing education sessions.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Recognised veterinary qualification (eligible for registration in Australia).
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity in supporting clients through grief.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload.
- Experience in relationship management, referral building, or client engagement (preferred).
- A current driver's licence
