We are seeking compassionate Trauma Support Workers to join our team of 8 support workers, primarily serving the Mackay region. This role is perfect for individuals with lived experience in mental health who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives through trauma-informed care approaches. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients using trauma-informed care principles Implement client-centered support strategies tailored to individual needs Maintain detailed documentation and reporting in compliance with psychosocial workplace requirements Participate in monthly team meetings and supervision sessions Complete annual trauma-informed care training (nationally/internationally recognized) Respond to client needs within 24-hour timeframe Work collaboratively with team members (up to 5 staff per client as needed) Support implementation of Nuro-Transformative support methodologies (full training provided) Assist with crisis management and safety planning when required Essential requirments Lived experience in mental health (essential) Strong understanding of client-centered trauma-informed care approaches Current Working with Children Card Current Yellow Card Valid driver's license Current First Aid and CPR certification Commitment to ongoing professional development and training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
