Store Manager – L'épi Artisan Bakery (Chisholm)

L'épi Artisan Bakery is a much-loved Canberra staple, known for its freshly baked sourdough, flaky pastries, and warm community vibe. We're looking for a hands-on, people-driven Store Manager to lead our Chisholm bakery — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in creating amazing customer experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Team: Motivate, coach, and inspire our front-of-house crew to deliver exceptional service and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Own the Day-to-Day: Oversee opening and closing procedures, stock management, and daily service flow.
  • Champion Quality: Make sure every pastry, loaf, and coffee meets our high L'épi standards.
  • Delight Customers: Set the tone for friendly, efficient service and handle any customer inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Grow the Brand: Work with our marketing team to drive local engagement through social media, events, and in-store promotions.
  • Stay Compliant: Keep everything above board with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.

About You

  • You've got experience managing a team in hospitality or retail.
  • You're organised, calm under pressure, and know how to keep the energy positive, even on the busiest days.
  • You're a natural leader and communicator who brings out the best in others.
  • You live in Canberra or nearby and have full working rights in Australia.
  • Availability: Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday (we can be flexible).
