Transgrid's Project EnergyConnect (PEC) is a once-in-a-generation initiative connecting the electricity grids of South Australia and New South Wales to deliver cleaner, more reliable, and affordable energy across the National Electricity Market. The project plays a critical role in Australia's energy transition — enabling renewable generation, improving system security, and strengthening interconnectivity across states.
About the Role
As the Network Interface & Completions Manager, you'll lead the integration of PEC into the Transgrid transmission network and broader National Electricity Market. Reporting to the Program Director, you'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of pre-commissioning, energisation, and network testing activities, as well as operational handover. You'll also manage key stakeholder interfaces with ElectraNet, AusNet, and AEMO, ensuring all deliverables are achieved safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
About You
- Extensive experience leading commissioning, integration, or network interface functions on large transmission, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate relationships with EPC contractors, regulators, and external partners
- Demonstrated capability in governance, project delivery, and quality assurance across complex technical environments
- Commercial and contractual acumen, with sound understanding of financial management and risk frameworks
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline, with high-level leadership and communication skills.
Reward and Recognition
We believe in providing our people with personal, professional, and social benefits so they can deliver their best work each and every day. Employees have access to a range of corporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, and health & wellbeing, as well as novated leasing options, workplace flexibility, 20 weeks of paid parental leave, and more.
Regardless of where you are in your professional journey, Transgrid powers your career by providing access to regular and ongoing training, workplace mentoring, and tertiary education. At Transgrid, you are encouraged to build a career that's right for you.
