Your new role
Reporting to our Senior Finance Manager, this role supports accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month-end assistance, cashflow forecasting, lease accounting and fixed asset management.
- Treasury processing including banking transactions and resolving payment queries.
- Assisting with external reporting to regulators including RBNZ, Stats NZ, ICNZ, and Companies Office.
- Contributing to process improvements.
- Collaborating with offshore teams and contributing to regional finance initiatives.
Please note: For the successful candidate, this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team, 2 interviews (either face to face or online via Teams), and background checks.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- A qualified accountant (CA or CPA or equivalent)
- Experienced in accounting, ideally within a complex financial services organisation
- Proficient in Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Able to problem-solve and work both independently & collaboratively
- Supportive leader and mentor
- Insurance industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement
