If you are an Enrolled Nurse (EN) and seeking a rural and remote experience, this opportunity is for you.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides nursing services within Dirranbandi Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) under direct or indirect supervision of registered nurse/midwives to provide meaningful person-centred care in the health service. Successful EN's must demonstrate competence in the provision of nursing care in an acute and chronic care environment.

Dirranbandi is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
- An annual isolation bonus paid annually
- Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave
- Additional annual leave per annum

With a 13 bed Multipurpose Health Service and Medical Centre, the team at Dirranbandi are passionate about their town and their community. There is a real sense of belonging here. Nursing, Medical, Operational and Administration staff all work together to make sure the community has a service it can be proud of and have faith in. Nursing in the rural clinical setting sees nurses expand their knowledge and skills and be ready to deliver care to a wide range of acute, chronic and emergency presentations.
