The Role & Project

MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to commence a 2:1 BIBO roster from Rockhampton, QLD for our Mining Construction Project in Mount Morgan, QLD. Must live within 40mins of Rockhampton or Mount Morgan. Be home every night and project completion expected around June 2026.

To be successful in this role, you will possess

  • Mechanical Fitter - Australian recognised Trade Certification.
  • Minimum 2-year post trade experience
  • Australian 'HR or C' class driver's licence
  • Must hold a:

    - High Risk Licence – Elevated Work Platform

    - Working at Heights - Confined Space within 2 years

    - OHS Construction White Card
  • SMP construction industry experience is desirable
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Must live within 40mins drive from Rockhampton for BIBO option
