Trailer Assembly Worker – Casual to Start (Potential Part-Time)
About Us
Top Galvanised Trailer provides heavy-duty, high-quality galvanised trailers that are made to last. We're a local team with a focus on strong workmanship, safety, and reliability. We're looking for a hands-on, reliable worker to join our experienced crew — starting casual, with the potential for part-time for the right person.
About the Role
You'll be assembling and fitting out trailers alongside our skilled production team. This is a hands-on role where experience with assembly tools is essential.
Your Duties Will Include (but not limited to):
- Fitting axles, suspensions, and other components
- Installing parts and accessories on trailers
- Using mechanical and assembly tools such as:
- Spanners, sockets, and ratchets
- Torque wrenches
- Impact drivers and drills
- Rivet guns
- Angle grinders
- Screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Working safely and keeping your area tidy
- Assisting team members to meet production targets
Skills & Experience – MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience using the tools listed above in a workshop, trade, or mechanical environment
- Able to follow directions and keep up with fast-paced work
- Punctual, reliable, and and ready to learn on the job
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work productively in a team
- Physically fit, agile and able to safely lift heavy items
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Previous trailer or chassis assembly experience
- MIG welding skills
- Forklift licence
