About the role

Sparks Farming is seeking an experienced and dedicated Farmhand to join our team in Spalding SA 5454. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing hands-on support across our cropping operations. If you have a passion for agriculture and a strong work ethic, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our family-owned farming business.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with planting, tending, and harvesting of crops
2. Operating and maintaining farming equipment and machinery
3. Completing general farm maintenance tasks, and land management.
4. Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
5. Collaborating with the wider farm team to achieve operational goals

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural role
2. Strong practical skills and mechanical aptitude
3. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
4. Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
5. Enthusiasm for the farming industry and a desire to contribute to our success
