Engineer (Underground Mining)

Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) owns and operates the Second Fortune and Fish Gold Mines in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia, with projects extending across Laverton, Menzies, and Sandstone.
We currently have opportunuties at both of our operational sites for (different levels of) experienced underground Engineers to join the team.
- Design and implement drill patterns for stoping
- Design charge plans and develop designs
- Complete short term planning, daily reporting and KPI measurement
- Conduct QA/QC on drill accuracy and blast outcomes, reconcile actuals versus plan
- Complete underground inspections and ventilation surveys
- Drive improvements in blast results, drill performance and plan compliance
You will have tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, be proficient in Deswik (preferred), and previous underground and drill and blast experience is preferrable.
