Responsibilities:

Cloud and Infrastructure:

  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for building AWS infrastructure.
  • Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing AWS cloud-based production systems for high-availability, performance, scalability, and security.

Scripting and Automation:

  • Writing scripts to build/modify Docker images for Kubernetes clusters and ArgoCD.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Linux Operations:

  • Extensive experience using, operating, and securing Linux operating systems.
  • Keeping systems up-to-date through operating systems patches and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of network and security fundamentals.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Solid grasp of software engineering best practices, including Git version control.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Action
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
