About the role:
Centenary Motors has an exciting opportunity; we are seeking the talents of an experienced mechanic who is results driven and reliable The successful applicant will be highly motivated, be able to work unsupervised and have a passion for mechanical work. You will have sound knowledge and experience in vehicle service and maintenance with problem-solving skills (European vehicle experience preferred) .
This position is ideally suited to an experienced senior mechanic who values independence and autonomy, working in a small team.
Salary is negotiable based on experience
This opportunity is scheduled to start immediately on a Full-Time basis. You must hold a current and valid manual driver's licence.
Job description:
-
Inspecting vehicles for RWC.
-
Conduct vehicle diagnostics, fault finding and troubleshooting.
-
Carrying out all general repairs and reconditioning work on various cars.
-
Carrying out servicing and logbook servicing duties.
-
Test driving and conducting final assessments before the delivery or return of vehicles.
-
Identifying and recommending additional work as required.
-
Practical knowledge and experience with engine, clutch, diff, gear box and other component rebuilds.
-
Safely moving vehicles in and around the dealership site.
-
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
-
Comply with WHS obligations.
-
Any other duties required by management.
About you:
-
Experience working with prestige European vehicles.
-
Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
-
Basic computer skills.
-
High attention to detail and good work ethic.
-
Hold a current and valid manual driver's licence.
-
Be able to follow instructions.
-
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work unsupervised.
Committed to working Monday to Friday from 8:00AM – 5:30PM.
