About The Role:

Who doesn't love a great cuppa?

As the Coffee Roaster, you'll be responsible for providing our customers and consumers with the great, consistent blends of coffee they've grown to expect from Brasilia and Monjava Coffees.

Working closely with the rest of our production team, you will ensure the right blends of coffee beans are selected from our range of suppliers to ensure each distinct roast matches our discerning recipe. You will operate two modern roasters to meet our customers' demand, this is a dynamic and high volume position.

We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest or background working in the coffee industry, who will bring a passion for learning the ins and outs of operating a coffee roaster and managing a production run. Operating State of the art equipment, you will be trained in roasting, production management, and quality assurance procedures. Having pervious leadership experience will help you excel in this role. Your duties will include:

• Day to day roasting operation and operation of associated machinery
• Management of green coffee stock including inventory management processes
• Quality Control
• Product development and refinement
• Cleaning and maintaining the workspace

About You:

Ideally you will have

• The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• The ability to take direction whilst contributing positively to improvements
• Punctual reliable nature
• A passion for coffee, with previous experience in other roles in the industry
• Highly developed problem solving skills
• A genuine desire to produce high quality results
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in high pressure situations
