The Opportunity:

This is a pivotal role for an experienced and versatile Senior Solicitor looking to make a significant impact. We are seeking a talented legal professional with a minimum of 6 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) who can seamlessly navigate a diverse and engaging caseload across commercial law, property law, and commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Law: Provide expert advice on a range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, business sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, terms and conditions, and general corporate advisory.

  • Property Law: Manage complex property transactions, including commercial and residential conveyancing, commercial leasing, property development, subdivisions, and property dispute resolution.

  • Commercial Litigation: Actively manage and resolve commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, debt recovery, partnership disputes, and property litigation, through negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings in Victoria.

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing practical and commercially wise legal advice. Contribute to the firm's growth through effective client management and potential business development initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) with a demonstrable track record in commercial law, property law, and commercial litigation.

  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and good sense of business development.
