MB Building Group is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Eltham, Victoria.  This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to the success of our growing construction business.

What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine project requirements
• Perform general carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, fixing and finish work
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal carpentry or cabinet making qualifications (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Carpenter in a construction or joinery environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
