Join a leading NSW Government client through Indigeco and help deliver a major Cyber Uplift and Security Transformation Program. Multiple senior-level contract roles are available across cyber operations, security engineering, and identity services.
Key Responsibilities Security Operations Manager
- Lead day-to-day cyber operations, threat intelligence, and incident management.
- Partner with projects to embed Essential Eight and MITRE ATT&CK controls.
- Drive uplift of cyber governance, compliance, and process maturity.
Security Services Engineers (x2)
- Design, implement, and operationalise new security controls.
- Manage the pen-testing lifecycle, validate vendor findings, and oversee remediation.
- Support secure delivery across firewalls, WAFs, endpoints, scanning, and data stores.
Security Operations Analysts (x2)
- Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM/XDR platforms.
- Investigate phishing, malware, and anomaly events.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and coordinate fixes with internal teams.
Identity Services Engineer (Senior)
- Enhance enterprise IAM systems (Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure AD).
- Manage SSO, MFA, RBAC, and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Support user-access and privileged-access reviews.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years' experience in cyber security, operations, or identity management.
- Technical proficiency with AWS/Azure, SIEM (Splunk or Securonix), and security tooling.
- Knowledge of frameworks: Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Relevant degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC etc.) highly regarded.
Eligibility
- Must be based in NSW and available to attend the office three days per week.
- Able to commence within the next 4–6 weeks (pending onboarding).
