As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Boilermaker/Fabricator to undertake fabrication, welding, and general metalwork across a variety of projects. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and a commitment to upholding the standards of Solid Arc Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, MMAW + AC/DC ) to a high-quality standard.
• Operate fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment safely.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Maintain a safe and tidy workshop in line with WHS regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold company values of quality and client care.

Skills & Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Competent in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Commitment to workplace safety practices.
• Current NSW driver's licence (essential).
• Current NSW Paid WWCC
• Forklift and/or additional tickets (advantageous).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
