We're on a mission to help entrepreneurs, Founders, and business owners grow their brands through impactful video podcasts. Vibez Creative is growing fast, and we're looking for a weapon Video Editor & Videographer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who has experience in the space and wants to take their career to the next level by creating content for high-level entrepreneurs and business owners.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with:

• Editing Full-Length Podcasts: Dive into footage, creating polished episodes by handling rough cuts, fine-tuning audio, and applying colour corrections to ensure a high-quality final product.
• Extract Viral Reels: Identify and craft short, engaging clips from full-length episodes with the potential to grab attention and drive social media engagement.
• Support Podcast Production: Work closely with the podcast producer, providing on-set assistance, guiding clients with delivery, and offering feedback to capture their best performance.
• Technical Setup & Camera Assistance: Handle the setup and optimisation of podcast equipment, including cameras, audio, and lighting, ensuring every shoot runs smoothly and looks professional.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has minimum 2 years experience in video editing and production.
• Is familiar with software like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Understands video production best practices and has basic knowledge of shooting techniques.
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a proactive and can-do attitude.
• Has exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Is passionate about filmmaking and video production.

Requirements:

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Proficient in English.
• Must live on the Gold Coast with a valid driver's license and means of transport.
• Must have experience in video editing and/or videography

Remuneration & Time Commitment

This is a contractor role with 40 hours of work per week. Days are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some days running slightly longer due to shoot requirements.

The hourly rate for this role ranges between $25-$32 depending on your level of experience.
