Chefs On The Run is seeking experienced, passionate and reliable Chefs, Kitchen Hands and Food Service Assistants to join the brigades around the Mornington Peninsula, South East Suburbs and Metropolitan Melbourne.

This role offers flexibility, and includes sites from a range of suburbs and in various different industries.

For more than 30 years Chefs On The Run has been building strong relationships with thousands of clients in all areas of hospitality, tourism & catering. We currently have work on offer in a range of locations and for those interested in big hours, with regional and remote clients

What You Can Expect

  • Above award Casual rates offered +Shift Penalties + Super + O/T Rates with no Cap on Maximum Hours.
  • Flexible Hours - longer contracts (travel & accommodation paid) for Regional / Remote gigs across Australia.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have/obtain Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Chefs)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Current police check (specifying Unsupervised with Vulnerable People) and/or NDIS screening check (NDIS required for Aged Care work)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef
  • Food Handlers accreditation required for FSAs
  • Working with Children's Check a bonus
