About the Role:

During your apprenticeship you will:

• Complete formal studies at TAFE
• Gain practical on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced, skilled trades people.
• Have the advantage of rotating through different sections, giving you exposure to electrical overhaul & repairs of locomotives and their components as well as our site services department.

On successful completion, you'll graduate with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) – opening the door to a long-term career with a globally recognised company.

About You:

• Reliable transport and good punctuality.
• A strong work ethic, with a willingness to listen, learn and take direction.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of people.
• Basic computer skills.
• Year 12 School Certificate (or equivalent).
• Commitment to safety, quality and the full apprenticeship program.

• A prevocational certificate II in Electrotechnology would be looked upon favourably.

About Our Process

• An onsite aptitude test.
• Pre-employment checks, which may include police, medical, and drug/alcohol testing.
