Bunbury Fibre Exports (BFE) is a leading Australian processor and supplier of plantation woodchips to the international Pulp and Paper Industry. Our operations are based at Berth 8 within the Port of Bunbury.

About the Role

We are seeking a safety-focused, reliable, adaptable, and positive individual to join our Mill Processing team as a Mill Operator.

In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of receiving and processing wood product supplies, while enjoying a 5-day workweek with 8-hour shifts. We are looking for a multi-skilled individual with a genuine interest in heavy machinery operations, plant equipment, and the forestry industry. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of tasks and challenges are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Front End Loaders (bucket and log forks)
• Operating Excavators
• Operating Bulldozers
• Operating Heavy Rigid Trucks
• Performing basic maintenance of plant and equipment
• Maintaining site cleanliness and amenity

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine operation (desirable)
• HR Driver's Licence (desirable)
• Current Driver's Licence (essential)
• Ability to obtain a Port Access Card (PAC)
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• National Police Clearance
