Baywood's continued business growth has led to an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Finance Manager is a senior position responsible for overseeing all financial activities for Baywood. This role is crucial in supporting management in strategic decision making by providing financial insights, assessing financial risks and developing strategies to optimise the financial performance of the company. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor within the Finance Team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high team performance.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations
• All EOM reporting – profit and loss, balance sheet, creditor and debtor positions etc
• Cash flow management and cashflow forecast
• Manage financial risks and implement effective internal controls
• Build a true for purpose cost calculator for major SKU revenue generators
• Support business growth by providing separate set of reporting for expansion and 2 major CAPEX projects
• Oversee accounting operations (accounts payable and receivable) including managing the team member responsible for these tasks
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
• Coordinate with external accountants and provide documentation as required
• Analyse and optimise financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Develop high level Board and Senior Leadership Team packs
• Other ad hoc tasks as per directed by senior management
About you:
• Formal qualifications in Finance or Accounting with CPA certification
• Proven experience in Finance or Accounting at a Senior Accounting level or Financial Controller
• Proficient in financial management systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong analytical skills and problems solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting and financial regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
