About the Role:

Arccos is seeking an experienced and capable 
Civil Designer
 to join our growing Darwin team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering detailed civil design models and drawings using 
12D

Model
 and 
AutoCAD
, from concept design through to IFC. You will also play a key role in supporting and guiding a growing team of design drafters, helping to coordinate outputs and ensure consistency across projects.

We welcome applications from candidates with 
3+ years of hands-on 12D experience
, while senior designers with broader industry expertise and leadership experience will be highly regarded.

You will work closely with engineers, designers and drafters to deliver high-quality work, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and exceeding client expectations.

About You:

We are seeking applicants with:

• 4-6+ years industry experience 
  with at least 3 years in 12D modelling
   (roads, drainage, subdivisions etc.).
• A proven ability to produce 
  IFC-ready design packages
   with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
  , with the confidence to provide guidance and quality oversight (for senior candidates).
• Strong 
  AutoCAD proficiency
   for civil engineering applications, from concept design through to IFC stage.
• A 
  proactive, motivated, and organised approach
  , with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a personable and professional style that supports effective teamwork.
• The ability to 
  manage multiple projects
   and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Knowledge of 
  local council, Northern Territory, and national design standards
   (preferred, but not essential).
