About the role

Join our dynamic team at Capel Vale Wines as a Cellar Door Person on a casual basis. In this role, you will be the face of the business, providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the visitor experience at our stunning cellar door located in Capel, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Warmly greeting and engaging with customers, providing recommendations and information about our award-winning wines
• Conducting wine tastings for individuals and groups
• Processing sales transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Contributing to the creation of a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all visitor

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role albeit in wine, customer service, hospitality or tourism industry. This is a hands on position requiring sales skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences. (We will provide wine training).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is essential
• Approved Manager certification or willingness to get one is required
