About the role

Based in Maddington, WA Specialised Transportis a growing West Australian owned and operated transport company specialising in oversize freight services throughout our state and interstate.  Our current core group of drivers work in an energized team environment and we are looking for the equivalent to join our crew.

Our key focus is providing a safe and efficient service to our customers, and we require people with similar values to support our ongoing success.

We're currently seeking professional MC Drivers for metro and Statewide based contracts.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating heavy commercial vehicles such as semi-trailers, B-doubles, 50t & 100t floats
  • opportunity to advance to platforms and modular trailers
  • Loading and unloading goods as required
  • Conducting pre-start checks and maintaining detailed trip logs
  • Ensuring all vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained
  • Adhering to all relevant road rules and transport regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

  • Current MC driver's license with Medical and Fatigue Certificates
  • Experience operating heavy vehicles in the road transport industry
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to work shift patterns as required
