The Role

As a Housekeeping Services Assistant with Resthaven, you will join a friendly, approachable team of positive people as you provide services to the older people in Resthaven's residential aged care homes.

Through your work, you will enrich the lives of the older people you meet, and they will enrich yours in return. Your duties may include:

  • cleaning residents' rooms and common areas of the facility
  • food preparation and serving of meals and drinks
  • prepare and maintain resident dining areas
  • laundry services

Resthaven is seeking applications in the following areas, and to be able to work across multiple sites:

  • Aberfoyle Park
  • Bellevue Heights
  • Craigmore
  • Leabrook
  • Marion
  • Malvern
  • Mitcham
  • Paradise
  • Westbourne Park

Essential Criteria

  • The ability to comply with safe work practices and safe food handling practice

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in providing housekeeping/cleaning services in a residential care facility
  • Experience in food handling and preparation services
  • Experience in providing laundry services in a residential care facility
